Surface Preparation: Surface preparation includes cleaning, priming with Opti-Rite® Primer (sold separately), and repairing any cracks or holes. The adhesive should be applied evenly and excess removed immediately.

Details

This is a non-strippable, semi-permanent, clay-based adhesive. One gallon of adhesive should be enough to cover approximately 250 square feet. It is recommended that the installation surface be prepared with Opti-Rite® Primer, a white acrylic primer sold separately, especially if there is a concern about being able to remove the wall covering at a later date. Priming will allow the dry erase wall covering to be removed more easily with less damage to the drywall, while also creating a proper and smoother bond. Our adhesive is really designed for our Opti-Rite dry erase products. I would not feel comfortable recommending it for any other type of product. I would recommend that you visit your local paint and wall paper store. They would be much better at steering you in the right direction.
