The OptiMA Large 11" X 17" Double-Sided Student Dry Erase Lap Board is an American-made, extra-large educational tool that provides nearly twice the surface area of standard 9" X 12" lapboards. These individual student lapboards are double-sided, maximizing the available writing space for any learning activity. The boards are approximately 11" X 17" X 1/8" thick, featuring smooth bull-nosed edges and rounded corners for added safety and comfort. Though quantities may be limited to ship by UPS due to size and weight, you can purchase individual units or choose from case packs of 6, 12, or 24. This large, durable teaching aid is proudly Made in the USA, and we gladly accept school purchase orders.

I needed a smooth and sturdy lap board for writing music while sitting down. I used to use a Ouija board, but it gave up the ghost. The white lap board is a perfect replacement. It's very lightweight, strong, and smooth.
Excellent product. Would highly recommend.
These whiteboards have been great! They have been cleaning up nicely. They store easily and the kids have been loving them for math and literacy work.
I have a student who writes really big and this board is great for her! It's such a great price, too!
Lap whiteboards I'd seen in the past were thicker, sturdier and slighter larger. I was a little disappointed initially. But for the price - extremely happy. I ordered the bulk package of 12 for the three of us thinking that I'd give some to friends. The remaining eight are in constant use simultaneously with lessons, workspaces, and drawings. The thinner width may actually make storing easier. Still sturdy enough that they don't bend. These have made home-schooling so much easier. I am really glad to have these.

Our lapboards are a painted medium-density fiberboard coated with a high-quality UV cured dry erase surface.


Porcelain enamel is used on steel substrates typically reserved for high-quality wall-mounted dry erase boards like our Great White and RitePlus whiteboards
